COVID-19 At Coopers Marquees we can supply a range of temporary structures to cope with all your strategical needs in the current pandemic.  Response team available 7 days a week to offer you a fast and complete solution whatever your needs.  Our structures are completely flexible to make best use of your avaialble space, options include hard or PVC walling, internal divisions, doors, access ramps, power and light.  Additional facilities aavailable include toilet and welfare facilities, furniture, mobile drink and food vehicles.

Photo Competition - Win a weekend at The Pheasant Hotel, Harome

2015 was a great year for Coopers Marquees and Y F Events.  We have loved working with clients new and old and to celebrate we are once again running our popular photo competition.

For your chance to win dinner, bed & breakfast at The Pheasant Hotel at Harome please email me high resolution images of our marquees, furniture and dance floors at your event.  You may enter as many photographs as you wish, just do make sure that they arrive with us by 12 noon on Monday 14 March 2016.  The winner will be announced on Wednesday 16 March 2016.  Photographs entered into the competition may be used by Coopers Marquees and Y F Events for publicity purposes.  Please send your photographs to office@coopersmarquees.co.uk

 

Bramham International Horse Trials

Coopers Marquees are proud to once again be providing marquees and toilets for the Bramham International Horse Trials 9-12 June 2016.

With summer a distant memory it's that time of year and once again we have a stand at the Showman's Show in Newbury, showcasing the very best Coopers Marquees and YFE have to offer.

One of our objectives whilst we're down south is to recruit senior team members to complement our already strong team of multi-talented marquee erectors.  

We're always expanding and adding to our already massive stock of kit, which, inevitably means we accumulate a surplus.  As such, we're selling off some of our used kit and if you pop along to the show we have some really special show prices on offer.

Summer is here!

Our yard is buzzing with activity at the moment and that can only mean one thing....summer is here!

We’re loaded up and ready to go to Newcastle racecourse for the Plate meeting  to set up for JHS’ 50th anniversary celebrations and a first for us this year, the Bramham International Horse Trials which we’re more than excited about.

The Knavesmire was busy with building works over the winter months in preparation for York racecourse’s first meet of the season this week.  We’re looking forward to July now and the John Smiths meeting.

Bishop Burton College host their horse trials next weekend along with the popular Town and Country day which we’re proud to be a part of.

Don’t you want me baby!!….Doncaster racecourse host Human League tomorrow night, hope it’s a good turn out!

 

 

Wedding season is officially open at Coopers

Twitter was alive with tweets, retweets and comments at the weekend as Team Coops' first wedding of the year went without a hitch.  Now all we need is for racing season to kick off!

Two weeks in the making and now it's all over with not a sign that we were even there...

We're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible people to join our friendly team here at Coopers Marquees.  If you're not afraid of a bit of hard graft, flexible with the hours you work, up for a challenge and willing to learn we'll give you a fantastic bunch of people, varied work and competitive rates of pay.

We currently have vacancies for Marquee Erectors, based at our head office just outside Wilberfoss and you’ll need your own transport due to our location.

Your main duties will be erecting marquees at any one of our clients’ sites including Doncaster racecourse and the Yorkshire Show ground, but it’s so much more than that.  You could be arranging the lighting, lining and dressing the marquees or moving furniture into place.

And of course when you’re back at base there’s the cleaning packing away to be done.

It's the opening Day of the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival at York Racecourse and we are thrilled to have created the all new Ebor Fashion Lawn which is situated in a fantastic location in the old pre-parade ring.

Newcastle Racecourse Ladies Day

This years Collingwood Insurance Beeswing Ladies Day at Newcastle Racecourse was an outstanding success. 

Crowds of over 20,000 gathered in the glorious sunshine and the Ladies were dressed to impress to be crowned "Best Dressed Lady" at the social event of the year in the North East. 

Once again were proud to provide a vast range of infrastructure including the Tominator, Harchibald, Sergent Cecil and Overturn Hospitality Marquees.

New for 2014 was the introduction of the BBQ lawn, spectacularly positioned in the centre of the course with amazing views of the fnish line. The package included a premier badge, picnic hamper, racecard and reserved table and chairs.
